How to read a 14-day forecast
The first nine to ten days come straight from the ECMWF model via MET Norway: these are real forecasts, more reliable the closer they are. Beyond that no model is accurate to the day, so we show a clearly labelled trend based on 1991-2020 averages from the Marrakech-Menara station.
In practice temperature is well forecast up to 5-7 days ahead; rain is trickier and mostly reliable 2-3 days out, especially summer storms that build over the Atlas. Check back a few days before you travel and see tomorrow’s weather for the hour-by-hour detail.

Each new model run includes fresher observations, so distant days move more. That is normal, and it is why we refresh the data every hour.
