Marrakech Weather (Marrakech Météo) is an independent site about the weather in Marrakech and the surrounding region, built for travellers. It is created and published in Marrakech by Imad.
Our mission
General weather sites give numbers; we want to answer the question visitors actually ask: what does this weather mean for my day? The best time for the medina, the chances of a balloon flight, sunset quality in the desert, storm risk in Ourika, what to wear: we turn forecasts into practical advice, in English, French and Spanish.
Our data
Forecasts come from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) under a CC BY 4.0 licence and are refreshed every hour. Climate averages are the WMO and NOAA 1991-2020 normals. Our calculations are described in our methodology.
Artificial intelligence
The “Today’s briefing” text may be written by an AI model using only the forecast data and our rules. It is marked with a “Written by AI” badge. Scores, alerts and advice are calculated by our own algorithms, without AI.
Independence
The site is funded by advertising (Google AdSense). No hotel, agency or operator pays to be mentioned in our advice.
